Best. Sunday. Ever.

I had a fabulous Sunday! Here is a little of what I did: 

Em & I went to Paint Yourself Silly. 'G' is my last letter to complete!

 

 Played some Just Dance 3!

And finished the day with some Red Mango. 

Coconut yogurt with gummy bears, coconut, and kiwi. YUM!

Cupcake Cards!

A local cupcake shop is interested in selling some of my cards! Here are some prototypes I came up with:

Glimmer Mist Project

On a recent Archiver's trip, I purchased some glimmer mist by Tattered Angels.

It was a difficult decision but I got the tattered leather. And I had the perfect opportunity to use it today! My friend needed a fish-themed birthday card for her nephew's first birthday.  Here is how I used the glimmer mist: First I cut out the fish on heavy cardstock.

 Using a big shoebox, I scattered the fish on the cardstock I was using for the card. 

 And...I MISTED!

Below is the final product. I'm really pleased with it. And the customer was happy! :)

Chicago Projects

After my 6 day stay in Chicago, I have LOTS of scrapbooking to do! Today I managed to catch up on Project Life and I made this cute layout...

Yesterday, Apple, Inc. co-founder Steve Jobs passed away after a battle with pancreatic cancer. But Jobs’ contributions to the world will live on–especially in scrapbooking. I'm inspired to make a scrapbook page with photos I took with my iphone. Personally, I've replaced my point-and-shoot camera with my iphone camera. It's great at capturing picture-worthy moments on the fly. 

I got this idea from scrapbook, etc.

Here I am - my second (and hopefully the last) time at the Diamond Headache Clinic trying to figure out these relentless migraines. I had a facet block this morning which went great. And a delicious piece of pizza this afternoon (after having nothing to eat for 15 hours!) I'm so thankful and happy to be here with my mom - she found my name abbreviation rather hilarious. 

Missing Mark

 

I'm desperately missing Mark while I'm in Chicago. Perfect opportunity to use FaceTime on my new mac! 

Hello Chicago!

My mom and I traveled (for the second time) to Chicago. Tomorrow is my appointment with the Diamond Headache Clinic and after I'm admitted into the hospital, I won't see the outside world for at least four days. So we decided to have a some fun before my appointment...

After some productive shopping, we had dinner at a Greek char house called Melanthios. We ate here last time we were in Chicago. Delicious!

Crave

I {heart} going to new restaurants with Mark. Tonight we dined at Crave - a gourmet burger joint.



It was delicious.Messy, but delicious.
Next time I'll be having the PB & B burger (yes, peanut butter and bacon. YUM!)
