My Productive Weekend

This might be the most productive scrapbooking weekend I've ever had. I created three layouts and I'm up to date on PL. (I'll post PL pictures at the end of January.) Hooray! Check out all my hard work:

I really like this layout - simple and easy! This will be the perfect opening page in my 2012 scrapbook. Used miscellaneous paper scraps and embellishments. 
 

For the title, I used different chipboard letters and misted with Mr. Huey's Calico White (this stuff is srsly my BFF right now). And I incorporated several items from the day - a take out menu from the food truck, the office calendar quote of the day, etc. 

 

New Layouts

Here are the layouts I made using Studio Calico's January kits:

Right now I'm totally obsessed with misters (if you couldn't tell) - I'm using them on almost every layout. Also obsessing over the 'keep calm and snap on' stamp included in the Photo Booth kit. Fit perfectly for the third layout where I used  the "bad" shots.

Christmas layouts

I'm a little behind on posting these but below are my Christmas layouts. Only have two to show you because I've been preoccupied with PL...

My Selphy CP-800 (almost a necessity for PL) prints eight photos per page which is how I created the collage layout. I plan to experiment more with this feature. I'm having a mini love affair with this paper and these sprinklers. 

On a side note, I'm anxiously waiting for my Studio Calico County Fair and Photo Booth kits. It's scheduled to arrive on Monday! :)

As one chapter ends, another begins...

Hard to believe it's 2012! Reflecting on the past year, I skimmed through my PL 2011 - I can't help but feel a sense of accomplishment. A year full of 365+ photos, personalized journaling and documentation that will be cherished for years to come. PL round one was such a success, I've decided to do it all over again with a picture of the day format. Because I'm feeling a little unmotivated, I'm taking a photo-a-day class through Studio Calico. Looking forward to some much needed inspiration for 2012!
