Featured layout of the week: Fortune Cookie

Guess who has the featured layout of the week on Studio Calico? ME! Excited doesn't even capture it. I'm beyond thrilled...and honored! I was just browsing a few of my favorite blogs, checked SC for some inspiration and my layout was at the top! Took a few seconds to fully register. So, here's some pictures of the layout that was selected: 

This layout is very special to me. While we were still friends and eating at our favorite Chinese restaurant, I got a fortune cookie with the message: 'stop searching forever, happiness is just next to you'. And it was so true. A couple months after that fateful fortune,Mark and I started dating. Going on 7 years now. Ever since I received the fortune, I've carried it around in my wallet. (It tore in half a couple of weeks ago and I had to laminate it.)

I'll probably be smiling the rest of the night. :)
