Sewing 101

Sew (that's the only time I'll do it. I promise.) many of my favorite bloggers incorporate sewing into their scrapbooking projects. I've been hesitant to start because 1) no machine and 2) lack of skill. But last night, my friend gave me a sewing tutorial. 

For a sewing neophyte, I don't think I did that bad. I practiced on blank PL cards and after I got the hang of it (and some guidance from Alison), I sewed a page protector that was a little too big and added a little something extra on a layout I just created (will post soon).

Will I go out and buy a sewing machine? No. Will I haul all my projects over to Alison's to borrow her machine? Probably.
